I’m a former campaign staffer turned data practitioner and technologist. Currently, I help build technical tools and infrastructure for progressive organizations, campaigns, and causes using the power of Data Science and Analytics.
Previously, I served as the Data Director for the 501(c)(3) & 501 (c)(4) coalition tables in Arizona where I led the data department to provide comprehensive support to 40+ non-profit, civic engagement, and advocacy organizations statewide. This encompassed delivering services such as data analytics, visualization, technical training, and CRM and tool administration. Prior to this, I honed my skills as a data analyst and data lead for the Arizona Democratic Party, specializing in GIS for mapping and data analytics to better track and visualize stories and trends during the redistricting process.
I am deeply passionate about leveraging data to make a positive impact and bringing more women and people of color into the data space. I have served as a coach, data trainer, speaker, and facilitator for Instituto, Arena Academy, Generation Data, Coding It Forward, and Second Day.
Before embarking on my data journey, I began as a field organizer for various campaigns and causes engaging in door-to-door voter mobilization, voter registration, and local community empowerment efforts. Notably in 2020, I served as the campaign manager for the most competitive legislative district in the state of Arizona achieving a historic victory as the first woman, the first person of color, and the first campaign manager to successfully flip the district after 10 years’ worth of attempts. Additionally, my team’s efforts led to the sole legislative district flip in Arizona during the 2020 election cycle.
I’m proficient in SQL, GIS, Python, CRM management, various BI tools, and spreadsheets. I welcome opportunities to connect and collaborate. If you’d like to get in touch please contact me on Linkedin!
